MEET THE MINISTRY FOUNDERS
Bill & Maureen have been married for over 60 years. They met in college, completed BA degrees and were married during their senior year. They have Son Chris and Daughter Cassidy and two adult grandchildren. They live in a lovely log and stone home – the Sitter Sanctuary, which includes a full conference center, located in Garden Ridge, Texas; near San Antonio.
Bill completed his 4-year U.S. Army service as an Infantry Captain and enjoyed his early career with major construction equipment manufacturers, including Caterpillar which posted the family in Geneva & Teheran. Following a series of key positions with heavy equipment distributors, Bill launched a successful executive search consulting practice which he sold after 20. Years. Along the way, he graduated at the top of his MBA class. Maureen held various jobs in their early years and then jumped into the role of full time “CEO of the home." Bill became a Certified Christian Executive Coach and has been a Chairman for C12 working with Christian CEOs and key executives for over 10 years.

Maureen & Bill accepted Jesus in their late 40s and that changed everything! Bill felt called to teach biblical principles for personal financial stewardship and that led to Michael Phillipps – Founder of Marriage Ministries International inviting Bill to co-author a full finance course. It became clear that MMI had more pressing priorities and the Sitters were blessed and released to develop a stand-alone course, now in its 3rd revision currently titled “Financial Freedom Course.” Thanks to what the Sitters learned as MMI Leaders, the course is loaded with Spiritual Warfare instructions as well as bible-based financial stewardship instructions. The ministry has a dynamic Board of Directors and a cadre of trained & dedicated course leaders. It has been wonderful to see hundreds and hundreds of couples and singles experience true financial freedom – God’s Way. Our leaders are especially excited and joyful as this course has spread to the Country of Fiji and beyond. Bill & Maureen are excited to see what God has in store.
