Yes, Singles Can Prosper Too!
by Kawanda Dixon
Prosperity is defined as having enough time, talent and resources to do what God has called you to do. As single people, we CAN handle our money well. We don’t have to wait until we are married to buy a house, buy a nice car or eat at the finest restaurants. If we start being smart with our money now, we will have something to bring to the table when we meet our mate. I don’t know about you, but I hate using the “B” word -budget! Every time I hear it I cringe. That’s why I use a flexible spending plan. I learned about it in the Financial Freedom Focus Group I took a couple of years ago. This plan, unlike a budget, allows me much more leeway with my money, and is not as restricting as a budget.
As a Christian, have you even thought that it is possible to live debt free? (In fact, Romans 13:8 reveals God’s plan regarding debt: “Owe no man except to love him”.) Have you ever even imagined being in a position where you have more than enough to meet your own needs and enough to bless others in need? As a Single Woman I can testify that this is obtainable and God’s plan for your life.
I encourage you to dig into this 7 week study: “Financial Freedom in 7 Weeks +”. You will definitely be blessed. 3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
