Am I Allowed to Pray for My Finances?

"Okay, I get it that God loves me and wants good things for me, but can I actually pray for my finances?" “Is there a place for prayer and spiritual warfare regarding money?”

"And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14 NKJV)

"Yes, but not about finances, right?"

"So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. "Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!" (Luke 11:11-13 NIV)

"Yes, that's good and all, but I can never see myself praying about my finances."
