Some possible causes to financial struggles that may be hindering
your finances which could be linked to an unforgiving heart

There are many things that may be causing you to have financial struggles. Here are just a couple of them that perhaps are outside the most common ideas you hear about:

1. Financial struggles due to an unforgiving heart. Matthew 6:14 -15 (NES) says, “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive you your trespasses”. Double check your heart in this area. Unforgiveness may be hindering your finances and causing the financial struggles you are encountering!
      
2. Financial struggles due to a stronghold. A stronghold is a way of thinking or system of beliefs that is contrary to the will of God.

Fear could be a stronghold. What is the fear based on? Perhaps you have a fear of actually succeeding at what you’re doing (job/career). Perhaps no one in your family line has ever prospered and been able to have all debts paid, and actually have cash on hand. Everyone you know has always had financial struggles.

A stronghold decreases our capacity to respond to God. It also is a place where, if you continue to live under the stronghold, you actually give Satan permission to torment or attack you.

Romans 8:5-7 (NKJ) provides guidance on how to overcome strongholds, which are centered in your mind, “For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God, for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.”
