Living debt free may not guarantee a totally stress free life - but it represents a great start. Close your eyes and imagine daily life with: no past due bills, no credit card or other consumer loan debt, no car payments … and (stretch your mind) not even a mortgage payment. Wow! You could focus your time, talents and money on blessing your family and on serving God and others.
Financial/debt pressure is commonly cited as the #1 source of marital stress and a leading cause of divorce. This is clearly not God's plan. There were no debt collectors...
